EST performs injections of in-situ remediation chemicals and reagents for our clients, including oxidants, reductants, electron donors, and oxygen-releasing compounds, using our specially designed high-pressure injection pump system coupled with our direct-push probe equipment. Large volumes of remediation chemicals and reagents can be injected at multiple direct push injection points or through individual injection wells or multiple injection wells networked through manifold piping.
Injection of in-situ remediation chemicals and reagents can be used as a primary method of remediation for situations that preclude invasive or high-cost remediation methods such as excavation or pump-and-treat or as a relatively low-cost final “polishing” technology to remove residual levels of contamination after the primary remedial technology becomes cost ineffective.
